The monthly meeting of the Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held today, June 17, 2023, with Deputy Commissioner and Vice-Chairman, DPDB, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, chairing the meeting.

The new Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, while welcoming the members, said that he was always ready to sit with any of the members, be it in his office chamber or official residence, for discussion and to share ideas if there should be any issues.

While reviewing the last meeting minutes, DFO Mokokchung presented a report on Rejuvenation of Spring and Water Bodies (a programme held during the celebration of World Environment Day), an initiative taken by the Chairman DPDB, Mokokchung, and line departments of the district.

The meeting also approved the registration of a new society, “Patir Jupang,” in Aliba Village and forwarded it to the government.
