As part of our effort to ensure the safety of the Food Storage Depots located in various parts of the country and to ensure that the Food Security of the nation in general is not under threat in case of any untoward incident. Fire Evacuation Cum A mock drill was successfully conducted at the FCI-Food Storage Depot in Mokokchung.

The Fire Evacuation mock drill activity was jointly organized by the Divisional Office Food Corporation of India (FCI) Dimapur in collaboration with the Fire and Emergency Services Department, Govt. of Nagaland.

The Fire drill was imparted to the staff, security personnel, labourers, and truck drivers of FCI Mokokchung by the Officer-in-charge of Fire Station Mokokchung.

The Objective of the drill is to check the operational readiness of the fire safety appliances located in the godown and to impart safety and precautionary measures for using the fire safety equipment in the event of a fire or other emergencies.
