Mokokchung Athletics conducted an athletic meet for U-16 and U-14 athletes from January 9 to 10, 2024, at Fazl Ali College Campus Ground, Chuchuyimpang for the upcoming 19th National Inter District Junior Athletic Meet 2024 (NIDJAM), to be held at Sardar Patel Sports City, Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahemdabad, Gujarat, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Gujarat from February 16 to 18, 2024.

All together, 15 athletes from different track and field events were selected to participate from Mokokchung District. The age group was categorised into U-16 and U-14, where more than 30 athletes participated in the selection trail.
