In pursuance of the State Election Commission Notification dated March 4, 2024, the Administrator and ERO of Mokokcung Municipal Council, Chumlamo Humtsoe, has notified all concerned that a ‘Special Summary Revision of the Electoral Roll’ for Mokokcung Municipal Council shall be taken up with reference to January 1, 2024 as the qualifying date. as per the schedule mentioned: 

The draft publication of the electoral roll on March 8th, 2024, period for lodging claims and objections from March 11th to March 20th, period for disposal of claims and objections from March 21st to March 27th, period for filing appeals to the respective appellate authorities from April 28th to April 3rd, disposal of claims and objections by the appellate authority from April 4th to April 6th, 2024, preparation of a list of amendments after the decision of the appellate authority from April 8th to 10th, 2024, final publication of the Electoral Roll on April 12, 2024.

Further, pursuant to the state election commission notification dated March 4, 2024, the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, shall have appellate authority for disposing of appeals during the conduct of the special summary revision of the electoral role for Mokokcung Municipal Council.

No enumerators or supervisors, or sector magistrates, etc. shall be appointed for the conduct of the special summary revision. Therefore, the concerned individual claimant or objector is hereby informed to apply directly to the office of the undersigned at the Sadar branch, 2nd floor office of the Deputy Commissioner, for inclusion, deletion, etc.
