The newly elected members of the Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) unanimously elected Imkongchuba from Dilong ward as Chairman and Lanuakum from Salangtem ward as Deputy Chairman of the Mokokchung Municipal Council. For Mangkolemba Town Council, Supongtsungba of Kumpani ward and A. Meren Walling of Luyong ward were elected chairman and deputy chairman, respectively. The members of the Changtongya Town Council unanimously elected Temjennungsang of PWD ward and Talimoa of Longchara ward as chairman and deputy chairman of the Changtongya Town Council. For Tuli Town Council, Purtoshi from Shitikolak ward and Alemchuba from Longlilenden ward were elected Chairman and Deputy Chairman, respectively. The programme was held today, July 6, 2024, at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung.
