Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has informed that the VCM Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd. is hereby permitted to carry out blasting of hard rocks at certain chainages to clear ROW for widening of road at existing single-lane road from Mokokchung to Chare via Dikhu on 31st July, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the following terms and conditions.

That the contractor shall ensure safety and security of the life and property of the public using the road, that the company shall follow all the relevant rules of the Explosive Act/Rule, 2008, that VCM Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd. shall be responsible for any damage to life and property, and that the permit shall remain valid only for one day, i.e., 31st July, 2024.

In this connection, travellers are advised to avoid taking the same road on 31st July, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
