Rajeshwari Karuna School Tuli (RKS) held its much-anticipated Annual Cultural Day Program on October 19, 2024, a vibrant cultural celebration that brought together students, parents, and two guest’s schools, Royal Knight Academy and Mary Mead GMS Luyong, to honour and showcase cultural diversity. The event was an opportunity to showcase the rich cultural tradition of the community while emphasising the importance of education, custom, and collaboration.

The event began with a formal program that featured a series of lively performances, including traditional dances, songs, and war dances that reflected the rich heritage of various cultural groups. Invited students from schools participated, showcasing their own traditions and adding to the atmosphere of unity. The involvement of parents was one of the most notable aspects of the program, as some parents/guardians donned traditional attire, adding authenticity and warmth to the event.

In addition to the performance, a stall exhibition area was set up by students with the help of teachers where the visitors could entertain by engaging in various games and greeted each other while enjoying various food delicacies.

Mr. R. Atsung, a teacher in Mary Mead GMS Luyong, commented, “The collaboration between the schools was a key feature of the event, and through this collaboration, it has fostered cultural understanding and respect for one another.”

The event was a resounding success filled with colourful costumes, live music, and cultural exchange—a day that would be remembered as a key milestone in fostering cultural pride and unity.
