Dr. Watizulu Suzumeren Jamir along with the winners of Throttle Thrust VI and 2nd North-east championships 2023-2024 at at Mangmetong village on 03 November, 2024.

Mokokchung|03 November: Throttle Thrust VI, organized by Spearhead Motorsport Initiative (SMI), concluded at Mangmetong village with Dr. Watizulu Suzumeren Jamir, Chairman, Development Authority of Nagaland, as the chief guest at the PD session.

Celebrating their 10-year anniversary, President, SMI, Meren Tzudir, thanked everyone who has supported the team and said that in these ten years, they have not just built a club but a family and encouraged the motorsport family to keep racing forward together.

Dr. Watizulu Suzumeren Jamir, in his speech, said that sports are something that brings people together without judgement and prejudices. He said that sports are one of the fastest-growing industries today, generating big revenue across nations. He added that motorsports events are very thrilling yet risky and build one’s self-confidence. He also appreciated Spearhead Motorsport Initiative for all the social work the club has done and acknowledged the club for bringing thrills and speed to Mangmetong village.

The results of the 2nd North-East Championship 2023-2024 consisted of two categories: SUV and Car Category. The winners were:

SUV category:

            1.         Champion: Ana Solo

            2.         First runner-up: Lanusunep

            3.         Second-runner-up: Kamalesh Das

            4.         Third runner-up: Andy Donald Mawrie

            5.         Fourth runners-up: Among Jamir

Car category:

            1.         Champion: Kima Jamir

            2.         First runner-up: Kamalesh Das & Lanusunep Jamir

            3.         Second runner-up: Ana Solo

            4.         Third runner-up: Andy Donald Mawrie

            5.         Fifth runner-up: Tomito

The results of Throttle Thrust VI includes three Special categories which are Fastest timing in stage 1 which was bagged by Thezieu Kire and fastest timing in Stage 2 bagged by Kima jamir and Throttle Titans, the team with the most number of participants which was awarded to Adventure and Motorsport Association Mokokchung with 8 participants.
