In an effort to promote experiential learning beyond the classroom, the students of People’s College, Mokokchung are embarking on an educational tour to Meghalaya from March 18 to 21, 2025. The tour, organized under the theme “Exploring Meghalaya,” will provide students with the opportunity to engage with the unique cultural, historical, and ecological heritage of the region.
Accompanied by two faculty members, the students will visit key locations in Meghalaya, including natural landmarks, cultural sites, and institutions of academic interest. The tour aims to broaden the students’ horizons, foster camaraderie, and enhance their understanding of the diversity and richness of the northeastern region.
The initiative is generously funded by the Management Board of People’s College, highlighting the institution’s commitment to holistic education and support for student enrichment programs.
