Mokokchung (www.nokinketer.in): The Mokokchung College of Teacher Education conducted their 14th session of the Induction Program for the new batch of freshers on the 19th August, 2025.

The program was chaired by Mr Sayangpong Pongen. To start off, Ms Yashimonglain invoked the program. It was followed by a welcome speech by Ms Neimou on behalf of the 3rd semester student teachers, where she emphasized the importance of collaborative learning and wished the best to the newcomers.

After which, there was an introductory session wherein the freshers introduced themselves with cheers and laughter.

Mr Lentilong Jamir presented a speech on behalf of the first-semester student teachers wherein he expressed his gratitude and love to the Almighty God. He further acknowledged the faculty and seniors for the warm welcome and expressed his delight to be a part of the MCTE family. He also stated that he was excited for the new journey ahead.

Dr K. Rijingkhum Yimchunger, Assistant Professor, MCTE, exhorted the gathering. He talked about how everyone should come together as one and help each other. He also encouraged the freshers to go beyond and not pull themselves back while exploring their potentials.

The first session concluded with a thanksgiving prayer by Mr P. Tumong Khiamniungan, followed by the second session, where the student teachers were entertained by some jaw-dropping performances by the 3rd semester.
