


Mokokchung, 7th December, 2025 (Nokinkter.in): The first-ever 35+ MFL Vision League, under-13 football league organized by the 35+ Mokokchung Football League under the aegis of the Mokokchung District Football Association and powered by Longterok Football Club, kicked off at Mojabi Football Turf, Mokokchung.
The opening ceremony was graced by Ajay Moktan, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, Mokokchung, who highlighted the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork, and resilience among children.
MDFA Vice President Bendangnükshi encouraged the young players to learn, grow, and use their skills for the betterment of society, expressing confidence that the Vision League will inspire new football philosophies.
Vesupra Kezo, NPS, Sr. Superintendent of Police, urged the participants to seize the opportunity, remain disciplined, and not be discouraged by setbacks, noting that “tomorrow’s football stars are being made here.”
The program was chaired by Er. Imtiyanger Imchen, with an invocation by Imliwapang, Pastor, Christ Church, and a welcome note by Tiakümzük, Convenor of the league. All together, there are six teams, comprising players from 8 to 13 years old. The teams are mentored and guided by the six teams of the 35+ Mokokchung Football League.
