SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:
i. Instituted five Students’ welfare and education fund programmes in five tribal villages to support and equip the poor and minority children to study.
ii. Introduced a state-of-the-art, and fully equipped Ambulance Service for the sick and poor in the backward ranges of Nagaland.
iii. Constructed village connectivity and Link Road connecting three villages in the border areas of Assam and Nagaland.
iv. Constructed Village link road for the Villagers of (a) Changdang (b) Japu (c) Longtho (d) Chungtiayimsen (e) Watiyim
V. Constructed 45 Community Toilets for both male and female in 45 villages to assist the initiative of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modiji’s vision of a Clean India (Swachh Bharat Abhiyan).
vi. Successfully installed and provided Drip Bore Well drilling in 18 rural villages to provide clean and safe drinking water.
vii. Constructed retaining walls, footsteps, waiting sheds, side drainage etc in 20 villages.
viii. Distributed 20 nos. of wheelchairs to physically handicapped people from 12 Villages.

: Member, Fertilizer Advisory Forum (Appointed by the Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers, Government of India).
March 2018: Elected to the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly from BJP
2018-2023: Minister, Higher Education, Technical Education and Tribal Affairs
June 2018 onwards: President, Nagaland State BJP
March 2023: Re-elected to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (2 term)

WORK EXPERIENCE:
– Chairman and Managing Director, REM Group.
– Worked with different NGOs as a volunteer among the poor, down-trodden and illiterate in the Slums of Delhi especially at Kusumpur Pahari, the second largest slum in Asia and Northeast India.
– Have been actively involved in various research of Cultural & Tribal Programme and activities sponsored by (IDS) Canada.
AWARDS & RECOGNITION:
i. Award for “Leadership Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship” during the 7 Middle East Business Leaders Award 2016, organised by the American Leadership Development Association (ALDA) held at Intercontinental London Park Lane in 17th February 2017.
ii. On the 17th February 2016, Shri P.B Acharya, the Hon’ble Governor of Nagaland and Assam, paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of REM Group at Longtho, Mokokchung, Nagaland and felicitated REM Group and its Chairman for the commendable work in the field of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Mission, Nagaland under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
OTHER INFORMATION:
: i. Working extensively in bringing peace and social development among the Adivasis and Naga Tribals living in the border areas of Assam and Nagaland.
ii. Interacting extensively among the student and youth to bring a decisive change in the educated community in North East India in general and Nagaland in particular.
iii. Working inclusively with the Village Councils, Village Development Boards and Self-Help Groups in the Rural Villages of Ao area.
iv. And above all, working with dedication in bringing about a peaceful understanding among the people of Nagaland during this peace process initiated under the Government of India.
V. As a Minister of the Higher Education & Technical Education to the Government of Nagaland, has inaugurated two Polytechnic Institutes in Nagaland State.
vi. Initiated water ATM, the first of its kind in Nagaland and was first inaugurated at Kohima Arts College.
vii. Organised a State wide Tree Plantation drive by the Nagaland State BJP after taking over the Party Presidentship charge.
