Mokokchung, 26th March, 2026 (www.nokinketer.in): The Department of Technical Education has informed all aspiring candidates of NEET (UG) and CUET (UG) 2026, who intend to apply for Medical & Allied, Paramedical & Healthcare Profession Allied and Agri-Allied courses for the academic session 2026–27 that certain courses have been shifted from CUET (UG) to NEET (UG) from the academic session 2026-27 onwards under NCAHP Act 2021.
The courses now brought under the purview of NEET (UG) are mentioned below:
- Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS/MLT)
- Ophthalmic Optometry Technology (OOT)
- Food Nutrition & Dietetics
- Radio Imaging Technology (RIT)
All candidates seeking admission to the above-mentioned courses, particularly under State Reservation quotas, are advised to appear for NEET (UG) 2026.
