We have come across rumours and social media messages claiming a “merger” or understanding between Imchatoba Imchen and Daochir I. Imchen.
We would like to state clearly that there is no official confirmation of any such arrangement, and such claims are misleading and unnecessary at this stage.
Koridang has always upheld a strong tradition of free and fair elections, guided by the wisdom of our village councils. The councils have already made it clear that this election must be conducted peacefully, fairly, and without undue influence.
We therefore appeal to:
All concerned to avoid spreading rumours and misinformation
The public to verify facts before believing or sharing
Voters to exercise their choice freely and with confidence
Let this election reflect the true voice of the people, without confusion or pressure.
We are confident that Koridang will once again set an example of a free, fair, and dignified democratic process.
