Mokokchung, 12th October 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Mokokchung district administration has directed all heavy vehicles plying on the Mokokchung–Ungma–Tuensang Road (NH-202) to divert via the Mokokchung–Chare Road (NH bypass) from October 12 to 29, in view of the 25th Dr. T. Ao Inter-District Football Trophy.
The order, issued by Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, aims to ensure public safety, smooth traffic management and convenience for participating teams, officials, spectators and other road users during the tournament.
All transport operators and heavy vehicle drivers have been directed to strictly comply with the advisory. The district administration has also sought the cooperation of the public and all concerned for the smooth and successful conduct of the tournament.
The order came into effect on October 12 and will remain in force until October 29, 2026.
