Wednesday, 20th May 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Department of Youth Resources and Sports has informed all interested candidates that the department will be organizing BABY LEAGUE GRASSROOT FOOTBALL 2026 on 13th June 2026 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

The League aims to promote physical fitness and a platform to groom aspiring children to take it up as a career. Based on their performance, the department shall select candidates and provide necessary training/coaching.

Interested candidates may collect the form and submit the completely filled form to the office of the Directorate of Youth Resources and Sports on or before 11th June 2026.

The festival is purely for boys & girls in the age groups of 5-6 years of age, 7-8 years of age, 9-10 years of age and 11-12 years of age.
