Mokokchung, 3rd October 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Langpangkong Students’ Conference, in collaboration with The Sound Wave Studio, Mokokchung, conducted a two-day workshop on Church Sound & Audio Engineering at the LKM Students’ Conference Hall, Chuchu Town, on October 2 & 3.
The workshop aimed to provide practical and technical training to individuals involved in church sound, music ministry and related fields. Participants from various villages and churches under the Langpangkong Range took part in the training.
The sessions were led by Lima Lemtur, Proprietor and Course Facilitator of The Sound Wave Studio and Assistant Professor at Nagaland Bible College, Mokokchung. The training covered live sound, audio mixing, mastering, sound system management and the operation of professional audio equipment.
Emphasis was placed on hands-on learning, allowing participants to gain practical experience in handling sound equipment and managing audio systems for church services, music programmes and other settings.
The Langpangkong Students’ Conference said the initiative was aimed at strengthening technical skills and confidence among young people while contributing to the sound management capabilities of churches and ministries across the Langpangkong Range. It also expressed appreciation to the resource person, participating churches and all those involved in the workshop.
