Mokokchung, April 16, 2026 (www.nokinketer.in): The Nagaland Bible College (NBC) held its 45th graduation service at the Discovery Hall, celebrating the achievements of 23 graduates across two distinct programs. The ceremony saw 8 students receive their Master of Divinity degrees and 15 graduates earn their Bachelor of Theology degrees.
The event was graced by college board members, faculty, staff, students, parents, guardians, and well-wishers, all gathered to honor the remarkable accomplishments of the graduates.
Pr. Daniel Ao, the executive secretary of the Ao Council NCRC, served as the convocation speaker. In his address, he urged graduates to dedicate themselves to prayer, Bible study, fasting, and spreading the good news. He emphasized the importance of courage and reminded attendees of Ephesians 5:15-21, highlighting the need for shepherds to protect and assist the needy while promoting servanthood and peace.
“At this time, we do not need high-profile lives, but rather individuals who are committed to serving others,” he stated. Pr. Ao also underscored that theology extends beyond knowing God; it involves reaching the unreached. He called on graduates to receive the Holy Spirit, as it empowers them to fulfill their calling.
The conferring of degrees and commissioning of graduates was conducted by Dr. Sentila Ao, principal of Nagaland Bible College. The ceremony also recognized outstanding academic achievements with awards presented to deserving graduates, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey.
