


Mokokchung, April 26, 2026 (www.nokinketer.in): A total of 47 units of blood were voluntarily donated during blood donation camps organised by two churches in Kohima over the weekend.
On April 25, Faith Harvest Church organised a blood donation camp as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. The camp, held at the church hall, saw the participation of 40 voluntary donors. The Department of Transfusion Medicine, Naga Hospital, Kohima, facilitated the collection of blood on-site.
Meanwhile, on April 26, The Salvation Army Church (Mizo Fellowship) conducted a similar camp at Naga Hospital, Kohima, marking the 109th anniversary of its establishment in Northeast India. A total of seven units of blood were collected during the program.
The Salvation Army Church (Mizo Fellowship) has been regularly organising voluntary blood donation drives since 2025, conducting at least two camps annually. The initiative reflects its commitment to serving those in need, in line with its mission of community service and Christian values.
