Mokokchung, 23rd June 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Higher & Technical Education Department, Nagaland, has announced that in pursuance of the decision of the Cabinet conveyed vide Cabinet Secretariat (Cabinet Cell) Letter No. CAB-1/14/2023 dated 15th June, 2026, regarding approval for the change of nomenclature of the Institute of Communication & Information Technology (ICIT), Mokokchung, to Government Polytechnic, Mokokchung, from the date of issue of this notification.

The change of name shall apply for all official purposes and administrative matters. All concerned departments and establishments have been requested to take necessary action accordingly.
