Nagaland, 18th August 2026 (Nokinketer News): Four officers of the Nagaland Police Service (NPS) have been included in the Select List 2025 for appointment to the Indian Police Service (IPS).

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) approved the Select List 2025 on August 6. The list was prepared by the Selection Committee at its meeting held on July 16, 2026.

The selection has been made to fill four substantive vacancies in the Nagaland cadre of the IPS under the Indian Police Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955.

The officers included in the Select List 2025 are Ben Longkumer, Krodi Rhetso, Aaron Patton and Muthasuyi.
