
Kohima, 20th August 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Directorate of Technical Education has informed the general public and student community that 100% Aadhaar seeding with beneficiaries’ bank accounts has been made mandatory for all eligible applicants seeking the State Technical Scholarship following the introduction of the Aadhaar Payment Bridge (APB) under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
In a notification, the directorate stated that Scheduled Tribe students of Nagaland pursuing diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses, including fresh and renewal applicants, at AICTE and Council of Architecture-recognised institutions across the country are eligible to apply online for the scholarship.
The online application portal will remain open from October 1 to December 31, 2026.
The directorate further informed that after successful online registration, applicants must submit a hard copy of the completed application to the Directorate of Technical Education on or before January 22, 2027. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
Students can apply through the scholarship portal: scholarship.nagaland.gov.in.
