Kohima, 20th August 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Directorate of Technical Education has informed that the State counselling for admission to Nagaland’s reserved seats in NEET-UG and Non-NEET UG courses for the 2026-27 academic session will be held on August 25 at the Directorate of Technical Education Conference Hall, Kohima.

According to the directorate, the schedule was finalised at the State Common Selection Board meeting held on August 18.

The counselling for NEET (UG) candidates will begin at 10 a.m., while counselling for Non-NEET (UG) candidates will commence from 2 p.m.

The directorate informed that selection would be based strictly on NEET (UG) and Non-NEET (UG) 2026 merit and candidates’ course preferences.

Candidates have been directed to attend the counselling without fail, warning that absence would result in forfeiture of candidature. They have also been asked to bring 10 passport-size photographs along with all original documents during the counselling.

Further, the directorate informed that the merit list and rejected list for both NEET (UG) and Non-NEET (UG) candidates have been uploaded on the department’s website. Details on seat and course availability are also available on the department’s website.
