Monday, 1st June 2026 (Nokinketer News): Thungchibemo N. Ezung, a 24-year-old entrepreneur and youth leader from Nagaland, has been selected to participate in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2026, one of the flagship gatherings of the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The meeting, popularly known as the “Summer Davos,” will be held in Dalian, China, from June 23 to 25 under the theme “Innovating at Scale.”
Ezung will attend the prestigious event as part of the Global Shapers Community youth delegation. A total of 60 young leaders from around the world have been chosen to contribute youth perspectives to discussions on key global issues, including innovation, entrepreneurship, healthcare, sustainability, and economic transformation.
Notably, Ezung is among only seven delegates representing South Asia, making his selection a significant achievement for Nagaland and the region.
The Annual Meeting of the New Champions brings together global leaders from business, government, academia, civil society, and emerging industries to explore solutions to pressing economic and technological challenges and to shape the future of innovation-driven growth.
