Mokokchung, June 15 (Nokinketer News): The district-level launch of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was held on June 15 at the Conference Hall Deputy Commissioner Office, Mokokchung.
Speaking at the programme, Addl. DC Mokokchung, Atsungba Walling, said that the launch of the campaign serves as a reminder that combating substance abuse requires more than policies alone. He emphasized that collective efforts are needed through supply-curbing strategies, demand-reduction initiatives, and, most importantly, outreach and awareness programmes at the grassroots level.
Calling for active public participation, Walling urged all stakeholders to work together to ensure the success of the campaign.
As part of the programme, participants took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan pledge, reaffirming their commitment and responsibility towards creating a drug-free society.
