Mokokchung, 24th June, 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Mokokchung has announced that the National Immunization Day for children aged 0 to 5 years is scheduled for June 28, 2026.

The CMO has issued an appeal to all parents, guardians, and adults to ensure that every eligible child in this age group receives two drops of the polio vaccine. The immunization drive will take place at the nearest Intensive Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) booths set up across the district.
