Tuensang, 11th September 2026 (Nokinketer News): Tuensang Deputy Commissioner Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has revoked with immediate effect restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles along NH-202 at Chainage 41 km near Tsaru Village, where the road was damaged by landslides.
In a public notice issued in continuation of the travel advisory of September 9, the DC said the affected stretch had been restored on an emergency basis for single-lane traffic, improving road connectivity.
However, as the road remains single-lane, commuters and vehicle operators have been advised to exercise utmost caution while passing through the stretch, strictly follow traffic regulations and instructions of personnel deployed at the site, and avoid unnecessary stoppages on the affected road.
