Mokokchung, 18th September 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Ao Senden has issued a 30-day ultimatum to the Nagaland Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, demanding immediate corrective measures at Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung, failing which it has warned of further action at “every level of governance.”
In a representation to the Principal Director of Health & Family Welfare, the apex Ao organisation demanded the replacement posting of a radiologist and dermatologist, shifting of hospital services to the newly constructed Block ‘A’ of IMDH, and cancellation of all attachments of doctors and nurses and their reversion to IMDH.
The Ao Senden said the Directorate has 30 days to act on the demands. It warned that failure to take necessary action within the stipulated period would leave the organisation with no option but to “take to our own course of action” to make its voice for justice heard at every level of governance.
