Mokokchung, 20th September 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Basketball Association Mokokchung District (BAMD) will conduct selection trials for the Mokokchung district men’s and women’s basketball teams for the Nagaland Olympics 2026 on September 24.
The trials will be held at the BAMD Basketball Court from 3 p.m. onwards. All eligible players aspiring to represent Mokokchung have been asked to attend.
BAMD said players who represented the district in the previous edition of the Nagaland Olympics and all BAMD-registered players are required to appear for the trials.
The association also cautioned its registered players against seeking to represent another district without prior authorisation. Violators may face action, it said.
The Nagaland Olympics 2026 will be held in Chümoukedima and Dimapur from November 2 to 14. The final Mokokchung squads will be selected based on the trials.
