Kohima, 29th September 2026 (Nokinketer News): Five additional disciplines have been included in the Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026 scheduled to be held from November 2 to 14 at Chümoukedima and Dimapur.
According to a notification issued in continuation of the earlier notification dated August 31, the newly included disciplines are lawn tennis (men), sepaktakraw (men and women), table tennis (men and women), volleyball (men and women), and wrestling (men and women).
The list of medal events for all disciplines will be notified separately. The contingents for the Games will comprise participants from all 17 districts of Nagaland.
The notification stated that registration of players and teams will be conducted online from October 3 to 15. It also clarified that no changes to players’ names will be permitted once the registration process is completed.
The Games Organising Committee will provide accommodation, local transportation, food and technical arrangements for the competitions in the host cities. The dates for arrival and departure of the contingents will be notified separately.
For coordination and registration-related queries, officials of the Nagaland Olympic Association, Khuvinu and Kivitoli, may be contacted on working days, Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
