Kohima, 14th October 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Technical Education Department has issued a final reminder to students whose scholarships for the academic year 2025–26 remain pending due to non-compliance with Aadhaar-based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) requirements.
Despite repeated SMS alerts and press releases, scholarship disbursement to certain beneficiaries remains pending due to issues such as bank accounts not being seeded with Aadhaar, inactive Aadhaar, or inactive bank accounts.
The department has directed all affected students to complete the necessary compliance procedures by October 17, 2026.
It warned that failure to comply within the stipulated deadline will result in the permanent forfeiture of scholarship benefits, and no claims for the academic year 2025–26 will be entertained thereafter.
All concerned students have been urged to take immediate action to resolve the issues and avoid losing their scholarship benefits.
