Friday, May 29, 2026 (Nokinketer News): Two candidates have filed their nominations for the upcoming Wokha Town Council by-election from Tsumang-B, Ward-8. The nominations were submitted before the Assistant Returning Officer and ADC Wokha, Renbomo Ezung, at the DC Office, Wokha.

Mhomo Humtsoe is representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), while Ar. Aling Lotha is the candidate from the Naga People’s Front (NPF).

The filing of these nominations officially marks the commencement of the by-election process for Ward-8 under the Wokha Town Council.
