Mokokchung, 27th June, 2026 (Nokinketer News): A cement pavement road on L. Pangersowa Road in Changtongya town, stretching from Longchara Junction to R.C. Chiten Jamir Memorial Government High School, was inaugurated by MLA Nuklutoshi on June 27, 2026.
Speaking at a brief inaugural program held at the auditorium of R.C. Chiten Jamir Memorial GHS, the MLA described the project as a significant milestone that would improve connectivity and contribute to the town’s development.
He highlighted the importance of better road connectivity, saying it had long been a need of the residents. He also expressed gratitude to Nagaland Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for supporting the project.
Nuklutoshi said roads are essential for economic growth, social development, and improving the quality of life, as they form the backbone of transportation and infrastructure development.
SDO (Civil), Changtongya Sub-Division, Sangpangchang Longkumer, thanked the MLA for the initiative, stating that the road is an important link within Changtongya town and expressed hope that it would help address the transportation needs of the local community.
