Tuesday, JULY 7 (Nokinketer News): Nagaland Governor Nand Kishore Yadav chaired a review meeting with the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) at Lok Bhavan on Tuesday.
During the meeting, IDAN officials presented a comprehensive overview of the Authority’s activities across its key functional areas, including Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), investment promotion, the Nagaland Skill & Entrepreneurship Development Mission (NSEDM), Swavalamban Connect Kendra (SCK), the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC), policy research, and human resource development.
The presentation highlighted IDAN’s recent achievements, ongoing programmes, key challenges, and its roadmap for strengthening investment facilitation and economic development in the State.
Reviewing the progress of various initiatives, the Governor appreciated IDAN’s efforts in promoting investment, entrepreneurship, skill development and innovation. He underscored the need to enhance the ease of doing business, create sustainable employment opportunities, and strengthen coordination among stakeholders to accelerate Nagaland’s socio-economic development.
Yadav also stressed the importance of effective implementation of government programmes, greater outreach to entrepreneurs and youth, and sustained efforts to attract investments while ensuring inclusive and sustainable growth across the State.
The meeting concluded with discussions on strategies to address existing challenges and further strengthen IDAN’s role in driving Nagaland’s investment and development agenda.
