Mokokchung, July 27, 2025 (Nokinketer News): In view of the severe damage to National Highway-02 between Chuchuyimlang and Unger villages, the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, has issued a travel advisory regulating vehicular movement until further orders.

According to the advisory, all vehicles travelling between Mokokchung town and Tuli have been directed to use the Mokokchung–Impur Junction–Longjang–Kelingmen–Tuli route.

Vehicles travelling between Mokokchung town and Chuchuyimlang/Yisemyong villages have been advised to ply via the Mokokchung–Impur Junction–Mongsenyimti–Chuchuyimlang route.

For traffic between Mokokchung town and Changtongya town, vehicles have been diverted through the Mokokchung–Impur Junction–Longjang–Kelingmen–Unger–Akhoya–Changtongya route.

Meanwhile, vehicles travelling from Changtongya to Mokokchung have been directed to take the Changtongya–Unger–Unger Local Ground–Chuchuyimlang/Kelingmen Junction–Mokokchung route.

The district administration has appealed to all commuters to strictly adhere to the advisory, cooperate with the authorities, and exercise caution while travelling. The public has also been urged to follow all instructions and advisories issued by the concerned authorities until normal traffic movement is restored.
