Mokokchung, 26th September 2026 (Nokinketer News): The Little Friends Montessori & Teachers Training Centre (LFM & KTTI), Tzusapang, Mokokchung, organised a one-day workshop on Dolls and Basket Making at its premises on September 26, with 75 trainees participating.
The workshop aimed to revive indigenous craft traditions, foster creativity and equip trainee teachers with practical, culturally rooted skills for early childhood education.
Resource persons K. Addson Riyang, Assistant Professor, Nagaland Bible College, and Imlimenla conducted hands-on sessions on material selection, indigenous techniques, design and finishing, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary approaches.
Sponsored by the Department of Tribal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, the workshop witnessed active participation from teacher trainees and craft enthusiasts.
